How to Have a Safe and Pleasant Taxi Ride in Udaipur

Hire a Taxi is the most favorable alternative to choose for going far. No worries for changing the vehicle at the halts! No annoyance of carrying the luggage! Even, you don't have to make the adjustment with the outsiders, as in the public transports. Basically, you will be free from many obstacles after hiring the car. Even if you are most comfortable behind the wheel of your car, sometimes you do need to hire a taxi.

After a night out partying with friends and having crossed the permissible limits to drive or have numerable halts on your schedule and do not want the hassle of parking: in such instances, a call to book a taxi would be a wise decision. With their metered fare you can book a Taxi in Udaipur at a click on your smart app - anytime anywhere.

It is always helpful to keep in mind these suggestions to have a safe and comfortable Taxi ride.

1. Confirm and Inform:
On arrival of the taxi confirm that the taxi is for you by checking the driver knows your name and destination. Ask for a photo id proof from the driver before boarding. Take a picture of the Taxi showing the Number Plate and if possible, of the driver too. Call a family member or friend before entering the taxi, send them the pictures and inform them where you are taking the taxi from and to where. Before entering the taxi, check that you have control over the opening and closing of the window and door.

2. Use GPS and Safety Apps on your Mobile:
Always keep the GPS 'ON' in your mobile, till you reach your destination. This ensures that the taxi is taking you to your destination and not veering off the track. There are several apps that let you connect instantly with the police and other emergency services. Phone numbers of family members & close friends should be on your speed dial list. In the case of emergency, you can press a button and get in touch with them immediately.

3. Opt for busy routes:
Do not allow the driver to take a shortcut for any reason. Remain resolute and insist on taking safe, high traffic routes. Take care that isolated routes are avoided especially at night, even if it means reaching a little late. The adage 'better late than never' is the guiding principle.

4. Safety in the Taxi:
When returning from a cocktail party or travelling late at night, it is better to pool than travel alone. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery and opening your purse to count your cash while in the taxi. For your safety always carry a stole or jacket to cover any revealing clothes while in the taxi.

5. Be Alert:
During your commute, avoid personal conversations on the phone. During such conversations, you inadvertently pass out personal information which may be overheard by the driver and used unlawfully. If the driver tries to engage you in a conversation avoid giving out specifics. Keep a lookout for passing landmarks and do not check email or play games on your mobile. You cannot drop your guard at any time, be alert and aware of your surroundings at all times.

Just keeping these 5 tips in mind will make your taxi ride a safe and pleasant experience. To ensure you hire pre-screened 24 Hour Taxi service, you can use the latest apps. Cab Hire in Udaipur has become very easy with online bookings and apps

Celebrating Holi in The Lake City Udaipur

Holi is celebrated in India since time immemorial but it is slowly gaining popularity not only in Asia but in others parts of the world and is widely known as ‘festival of colours’. There is a popular saying in Holi i.e. ‘Bura na mano Holi hai’ which means “don’t mind, its Holi.”The significance and the reason behind celebrating this festival are getting succumbed by the fun and enjoyment. A lot of people like to play Holi or the festival of colours but don’t know the importance, relevance and the actual way of celebrating it. This article will help you to know more about Holi, the way it is celebrated and the rituals performed.

Holi in Udaipur is a tribal stronghold and an erstwhile princely state. Holi represents love and joy. Hence any sort of differences and enmity is throen away. The Holi celebrations here are a unique display of the culture and traditions of the Bhil tribe. On this day the Bhils, dressed in all their festive finery, perform the beautiful Ghair traditional dance around a huge bonfire. Visitors can visit in Udaipur for this festival.

It’s a unique festival, the likes of which are probably not found anywhere else in the world. A boisterous yet colourful celebration of the many myths, legends and deities associated with it. Holi is marked as much by religious fever and devotion as it is by loud music, traditional dances and of course the forceful scrubbing of bright gulal and abeer on friends and relatives. Interestingly, in India, different cities and

states have their unique traditions and ways of observing this day. We bring you the top five destinations where Holi is not just a riot of colours, but a meaningful amalgamation of traditions and devotion. These are must-visit places during Holi if you want a real feel of this vibrant festival.

HOW TO MAKE THIS HOLI MEMORABLE?
I had heard so much about the festival of Holi, but had never experienced it first-hand. And when I actually did, I realised that this festival of colours is in fact one of the most fun and exciting festivals in India.

After Marriage for my first Holi, I happened to be in Udaipur, one of the most sacred cities in India and the experience of partaking in the festival of Holi here was enriching and amazing, to say the least. The Holi in Udaipur has a royal leaning as an ornate procession leaves the palace to Manek Chowk, with horses and the royal band. This ends a large bonfire with an effigy of Holika being engulfed in flames. The celebrations here are more sombre.

On the eve of Holi people make sweet delicacy known as ‘Gujiya’ which is basically a sweet dumpling. These dumplings are stuffed with the dry-fruits, Khoyas and much more. It’s a tradition to make gujiyas at homes which have way more value from that purchased in the market.

In Udaipur People are decorating each other by saying "Bura na mano, Holi hai." Singing Bollywood songs like "Rang Barse." Bhang and Lassi are drinks which provided out off which Bhang is drink which makes.

If you are planning for a trip in that time, then you can use Udaipur Cab Services, so that with a single trip you will be able to explore so much fantasy and color of Indian festivals. So, this year, celebrate Holi in one of the best city Udaipur and hire cabs in Udaipur only on Udaipur-Cab!
